For the second year in a row, our friends at 39 Minute Workout in Ellicott City, Maryland, ran a successful and fun fundraiser, the Kettlebell Swing-A-Thon, which raised more than $16,000 to fund programs at Casey Cares.
The event is a great way to keep up those New Year’s Resolutions for staying in shape and also a great event to help Casey Cares as many fantastic items were auctioned throughout the day.
39 Minute Workout is owned by David Beares, an active supporter of Casey Cares who also happens to be a member of the Casey Cares advisory board.
“David is a terrific backer of Casey Cares and all of our programs that help our kids,” said Casey Baynes, founder and executive director of Casey Cares. “Without help from people like David, we could not continue providing the type of uplifting programs that we do for critically ill children.”
