Our 13th Annual Casey Cares Golf Tournament Was A Hole In One!

About 120 people spent the day Monday at the Hunt Valley Golf Club with golf, lunch provided by Kona Grill  and a cocktail awards reception where longtime supporters of Casey Cares, The Sons of The American Legion were honored with the Casey Cares Champion of Children Award. Many thanks go to Casey Cares Board member, Wanda Smith, chair of the Golf Tournament committee which helped run such a successful event for Casey Cares! Thanks also to our emcee, Brent Harris of Comcast SportsNet, and Tom Reyes and Friends for providing live jazz music.

One of the most moving parts of the day was when our Casey Cares child, Gabriel, spoke about how much impact our programs have had on his life and for his family. Gabriel and his grandmother made the hour-long drive to share his thoughts with our golfers. Thanks Gabriel!
